What do I install, and do I need to code?
Install Docker, then start Officer with the single command in the install guide. You do not need to write code to use the panel and setup wizard.

How Officer handles it
Pit Officer runs on your computer. The wizard walks through account, master key, access, agent and prices. The panel has its own password; your AI uses MCP with an agent token, while programs can use REST.

After setting a quantity cap of 10, an order for 11 shares is rejected.
What Officer does not do
Installation does not select a trading strategy or guarantee profit. You still need to configure the connection and limits; test or live mode depends on the provider and settings.
Limits apply only to orders routed through Officer. An agent with its own broker keys can trade outside Officer.
