Do I have to give my broker API key to a website?
No, using Officer does not require handing your broker API key to a hosted website. Enter the keys in Officer's local panel on your own computer; they are sealed and stay on that machine.

How Officer handles it
Pit Officer's panel has its own password. Connect the AI over MCP with an agent token rather than giving it broker keys, and set limits on the orders routed through Officer.
Example of a refused order
With an order amount cap of 100 USD, an agent's order worth 150 USD is rejected.
What Officer does not do
Local storage does not make every website or AI service trustworthy. Officer's limits do not cover a separate connection using broker keys you gave the agent.
Limits apply only to orders routed through Officer. An agent with its own broker keys can trade outside Officer.
